As we’re working through our everyday processes and “to do’s”, we are constantly reaching out to others and trying to keep track of next steps. The follow policyIQ features could be huge time savers and they’re really easy to implement!
Automatic Email Notifications
Take advantage of the system feature that notifies users when they have content expiring, pages to read, or forms to complete. Contact support@policyIQ.com if you’re interested in having this feature enabled.
Workflow Notification Options
The next time that you’re delegating content updates to someone else (Checkout to Others), sending something to an Approver (Publish), or approving content, pause to notice that you have options to notify others of the change in workflow, as well as options to customize your email message. Basically, if content is changing hands, you are presented with options to send system generated emails to your stakeholders.
Forms – Email Reminder
Collecting an inventory of responses and tracking down those who haven’t yet responded to you forms or questionnaires (such as 302 certifications, policy sign-offs, and account reconciliations) can be so tedious and time consuming. These mundane tasks are made much easier and remedied more quickly using policyIQ Forms. Review your issued forms in Activities where you not only have instant access to the “inventory” of who has responded and those responses that are still outstanding, you can also send an email reminder to those with outstanding Forms with just a few clicks!
Pages – Custom Alerts
Have you clicked on the Alerts tab in your Pages yet? We tend to do what we’ve always done or to do only what’s necessary without exploring auxiliary services. If you have a friend who might fit one of these descriptions, perhaps you could help him to work more efficiently by showing him that he can manage projects, processes and initiatives with the help of policyIQ’s Custom Alerts.
There’s an almost infinite combination of options for using this feature to streamline communications—hence, the name “Custom” Alerts.
