Twas the month before Christmas and all through the code,
There were features to polish and the work had not slowed.
New icons were placed in the application with care
In hopes that the users would like what was there.
Developers worked quickly to correct every error
While testers logged bugs that were becoming much rarer.
The application looked great and the team was excited;
They hoped that their users would be just as delighted.
Version 7 was coming and onward they pressed
Until it was perfect, the team would not rest!
It was coming! It was close! It was almost here!
QA would soon give it the final “all clear”.
It had to be perfect. It had to be right.
And it would very soon, users don’t fright!
Within the next month, we’ll say “Save the Date!”
Version 7 is coming and it’s going to be great!
Version 7 is right around the corner, and we want you to be ready. A small group of beta testers will be given links to test sites today! Release notes are written. And we’re working hard to put the finishing touches on the 7th generation of policyIQ.
Within the next month, we’ll be communicating our upgrade schedule. We’re planning to allow at least six months for our full rollout schedule, and we’ll be asking you if you would prefer to be included in the early, middle or late stages of that roll-out.
We’re excited about the improvements to policyIQ coming with version 7, but we’re also pleased to say that the learning curve for the new version will be minor. Your Standard and Read-Only users will notice only minor adjustments, and will need little to no training on the new version. Advanced Users will want to get familiar with some changes to navigation, but the core functionality will remain unchanged. We will be providing Release Notes and webinars well in advance, so that you can see the changes and prepare your users before your move to the new version.
